Hotel quality sheets and towels are provided. The Spa quality towels are made of 50% Bamboo-Viscose & 50% Aegean Turkish Combed Cotton and meet the strict “Made in Green by OEKO-Tex®” standards, certifying that all materials are free from harmful chemicals and are safe for human use.

Makeup removing cloths are provided in each bathroom and by the sink in the Red Guest room.

River towels (inexpensive beach towels which have been well-loved) are available upon request for those who wish to go kayaking or riding the rapids on the French Broad/Nantahala/Ocoee rivers.

Note: All sheets, towels, pillows, dishes, glassware, and flatware remain on the property. Guests will be charged appropriately if any are missing.

Outdoor Sink and Undercounter Refrigerators are available for all renters. The BBQ grill is reserved only for Special Events and Whole House Rental, unless arrangements are made with the homeowner in advance.

Small deck on the lower level is just outside the Sun Room and Twin Guest room.

Upper-Level Deck - Access to the main deck on the main level is through the Dining Room.

Outdoor Amenities

Access to the home is through the main front door with a keyless door pad. Stairs to the lower level are just inside the entrance.
Free parking on premises.
3 separate Lower level Heating and Air Thermostats for added comfort
Elevator - available for your use, is located in the Living Room, just off the Kitchen, and in the Red Guest Room on the lower level.
Intercom System - installed throughout the house and on the upper deck.
Instant hot water is available throughout the home.
The massage table is available upon request, and the owner can make arrangements for a massage therapist to come to the house for private massages, subject to availability.

Safety/Security

All rooms include smoke/heat detectors and CO2 detectors and are monitored 24/7 via the ADT Monitoring system.
ADT monitors the property 24/7. If you wish to turn on the security system when you are home or away, please request a temporary code during your stay.
Fire Extinguishers are located in the Pantry on the Main Level by the Kitchen, under the sink in the Lower level Kitchenette and under the sink in the Coffee Bar in the Master Bedroom
First Aid kits are located in the Pantry next to the Fire Extinguisher, under the sink in the Lower level kitchenette, under the sink in the Guest Suite Bathroom, under the sink in the Red Bedroom and under the sink in the Coffee Bar in the Master Bedroom.
Driveway sensors notify you through the speaker system, throughout the house and deck, that guests or deliveries are coming up the driveway.
Ring Cameras are installed to watch the front door, the driveway, inside and outside the garage, inside the utility rooms and the lower level exterior doors. The only monitor inside the living area is just inside the front door for security reasons.
I don’t keep bed bug protectors on the Master Bedroom pillows because I don’t like the way they don’t breathe. If I forget to cover them before renting the Whole House, I don’t want to get into trouble about it.
Monthly pest control service ensures that bugs are kept to a minimum.

Important Note: We live among the bears in their natural habitat and it is important that you DO NOT feed the bears under any circumstances. Also, please DO NOT leave any food or beverages in your cars and keep your doors locked at all times.
